Happy BC Day!

Thank you for celebrating this holiday weekend with us in Squamish.

Did you know that the BC Day holiday has only been around since 1974 and BC was the last province to establish a civic holiday in August?

A Bill was first introduced by the Honourable Ernie Hall to create a holiday in August that recognized the pioneers of British Columbia and the date also happened to align with the anniversary of BC changing from a colony to a province (August 2, 1858).

Looking for something to do today?

We suggest starting your holiday Monday with a delicious breakfast at one of these great sponsors!
