We require a minimum of 6 participants to run any event, so make sure you sign up sooner than later!

Just a reminder, ladies can enter: ladies, novice, intermediate or open events but can only compete in one class per event.

Our hot saw event this year is Open with no limits on carburetion.

1️⃣ Complimentary camping spots are available on the grounds (first come-first served – please register on the entry form). The grounds are equipped with outhouses and a hose-bib water source. Showers are available at the Brennan Park Recreation Center for a small fee.

2️⃣ Please bring a refillable bottle to stay hydrated. We have eliminated plastic water bottles but have a filtered water source on site.

3️⃣ Only competitors are allowed on the infield for the morning preliminaries and during the show. This rule will be strictly enforced.

All family members and guests must be seated in the designated areas.

At registration you will be given one competitor wristband. This must be displayed at all times and shown to security whenever re-entering the grounds. There will be no access to the grounds without this pass.

4️⃣ Family members / guests must purchase a show ticket and spectate from the grandstands or designated viewing areas.

Upon check-in the purchased family/guest pass(es) will be exchanged for a wristband allowing re-entry into the grounds and grandstand area.

Family members/guests are required to purchase a ticket for each day they will be on site. Please note that the Sunday show tends to sell out at least a week before the festival begins, so please purchase tickets in advance.

❤️ The Squamish Days Loggers Sports Festival run entirely by volunteers, and is an important fundraiser for local community groups. We appreciate your understanding and support in having family members and guests purchase tickets for the event.

KETTLE BOIL

Think you can start a fire, split wood, and boil a can of soapy water before the other teams even get their flames going? The Kettle Boil Challenge is a Squamish Days tradition like no other – combining heat, hustle, and hometown bragging rights.

Teams of two go head-to-head in a race to build a fire from scratch and get that can boiling over, using nothing but a cedar block, three matches, a hatchet, and their best breath-blowing technique. It’s gritty, fast, and wildly fun – especially with a crowd cheering you on. Entry is just $20 per team per category (Junior + Adult or Open 18+), and cash prizes go to the top finishers in each division.

Spots are limited to 30 teams total, so grab your teammate and sign up early if you’re ready to sweat, strategize, and start your Squamish Days weekend by lighting it up – literally.

Bed Races

Fast, funny, and full of chaos – the Squamish Days Bed Races are a Friday night spectacle where creativity meets cardio. Teams of five (four pushers and one rider) race real beds on wheels down Cleveland Avenue, navigating a downtown obstacle course packed with surprises and soaked in hometown spirit.

Costumes are not only encouraged – they’re judged, with prizes for the fastest teams and the best dressed. Entry is $25 per team, and all beds are provided (no DIY required).

Whether you come to win or just to wow the crowd, it’s a ridiculous amount of fun and a must-do for anyone who’s ever looked at furniture and thought, “We could race that.” Spots are limited to 14 teams – don’t sleep on it.

Parade entries are free, but we expect flair: vehicles must be at least 50% decorated, costumes are encouraged, and crowd-pleasers are always welcome. Whether you’re a business, non-profit, school group, or just a crew with a great idea, you’re invited to be part of this classic Sunday celebration.

CHILI COOK-OFF INVITATIONAL

Think your chili has what it takes to win over a crowd of hungry loggers sports fans?

Each year, a handful of local restaurants are invited to bring their boldest, smokiest, most unforgettable chili recipes to the festival grounds for a one-night-only taste showdown. It’s part bragging rights, part spice-fueled spectacle – and a whole lot of fun. While the kettle boils roar and the crowd gathers on the patio, tasters sample and vote to crown the fan favourite.

If you’re a local eatery looking to join the lineup next year, we’d love to hear from you. Interest inquiries are welcome year-round.
