OPEN AXE THROW

Precision. Power. Pure bragging rights.

The Squamish Days Open Axe Throw is a high-stakes showdown featuring 32 top-level competitors throwing for the win – and $2,200 in prize money.

Proudly organized by the Squamish Valley Equestrian Association, this event is a Saturday night fan favourite. Held in the open-air beauty of the Squamish Valley Golf Club, it blends fierce competition with laid-back summer vibes. You don’t have to know a thing about loggers sports to get swept up in the tension of axe after axe flying toward the target.
