ROTARY BEEF BARBECUE

The Sandwich Everyone Talks About

You’ll smell it before you see it – the Rotary Beef BBQ Sandwich is a Squamish Days legend. For over 50 years, these slow-smoked, alderwood-roasted outside round roasts have been the star of the show (second only to the chainsaws). Sliced hot and piled onto soft brioche buns, these sandwiches are served exclusively at the Loggers Sports Grounds on Saturday and Sunday – and yes, they always sell out. This mouth-watering tradition is proudly prepared by the Rotary Club of Squamish, one of the festival’s dedicated service groups and long-time community partners. Sandwiches are served starting around 12:30 PM, and once they’re gone, they’re gone. Pro Tip: Saturday’s show has smaller crowds and shorter lines – it’s your best shot at snagging one of these coveted treats.
