volunteer with squamish days

Be part of something Squamish loves

Squamish Days isn’t just a festival – it’s a tradition, a reunion, and a four-day burst of energy that lights up the community every summer. It’s thrilling, it’s loud, it’s hilarious, and it’s completely 100% volunteer-run.

From axe throwing and bed racing to pancakes, parades, and log rolling, the festival is only possible because of the 450+ volunteers who step up every year. Some have been doing it for decades. Some just signed up last year. Every single one makes a difference.

If you’ve ever attended the festival and thought, “This is something special,” we’re here to tell you: you’re right.
And if you’ve ever thought, “I wonder how I could get involved?” – this is your moment.

Who we're looking for

We’re always excited to welcome new, energetic volunteers – whether you’re looking to pitch in for a few hours or join our core festival team.

Festival Committee Volunteers

Want to help shape the event behind the scenes? Committee roles are perfect for people who enjoy planning, logistics, and working with a tight-knit team. These positions generally run from early spring through September, with about six meetings from March to September and regular check-ins with the board.

Current openings include:

We’d love to have you on board.

Once you complete the form, someone from our team will be in touch to follow up.

Let’s make this year’s festival unforgettable – together.
